One night on a ferry, one night in Rotterdam & one night in Brussels. We use chain hotels like Ibis or similar.
Ride type
This ride exclusively caters to road bikes, ensuring an optimal cycling experience. The journey comes with excellent support, as a designated vehicle will transport our belongings while we travel between cities. Furthermore, it'll conveniently carry our bikes back to the UK at the end of our adventure.

To embark on a journey to Palestine, raising funds for this critical cause. Whether it takes a decade, fifteen, or twenty years, our commitment remains unwavering until justice prevails.

Chances are we will have lunch on the road at a nice café on each day. We will aim to have at least one cafe stop each day, if not two! Dinner will be in town once we freshen up after the ride! We will have a few snacks in the van if needed & of course you are free to bring your own!

Full refunds can be given up to 60 days before the trip, after which refunds are unavailable unfortunately. We are unable to return money raised for Human Aid.
Itinerary
Day 1 - London - Harwich - Hook of Holland, 75 miles, rolling
On day one, our adventure kicks off with an invigorating ride towards the enchanting east coast of England. The route meanders through charming towns in Essex, including the historic city of Colchester, offering picturesque vistas along the way. Our midpoint promises a delightful café stop in Maldon—don't miss out on their irresistible cakes; they're an absolute treat!
Upon reaching Harwich, it's time to refuel with a satisfying meal before boarding the night ferry, where comfort awaits. Rest assured, we've got showers, cozy beds, and breakfast organized for a rejuvenating night onboard.
Day 2 - Hook of Holland - Amsterdam - Rotterdam, 100 miles, flat
Welcome to what some may deem the "queen stage" of our journey! Brace yourself for a day that could either be a thrilling, swift ride or a challenging grind, all contingent on the whims of the wind. We'll traverse along the coastal routes, offering expansive views of canals, beaches, and iconic windmills. This stretch between Hoek van Holland and Amsterdam is a personal favorite of mine, and I'm eager to share the reasons why it holds a special place in my heart.
As we pedal our way, Holland's charm will unfold before us. Amsterdam's vibrant culture and the dynamic cityscape of Rotterdam will beckon us closer, promising an unforgettable encounter. Get ready to soak in the essence of these incredible destinations as we ride through their lively streets and embrace the unique energy each city exudes.
Day 3 - Rotterdam - Antwerp - Brussels, 100 miles, flat
The grand finale of our expedition leads us towards the magnificent Brussels, a day that promises yet another century ride on legs that have carried us so far. But fear not! Along the way, indulge in the exquisite delights of Belgian bakeries. Trust me, they're reigning champions on our bakery tour across Europe!
As we near our destination, brace yourself for the allure of Brussels and the enchanting charm of Antwerp. The vibrant pulse of these cities will resonate through every pedal stroke, offering glimpses of historic grandeur, artistic marvels, and culinary delights that define Belgium's essence. So, fuel up with those delectable pastries, because an adventure awaits in these captivating Belgian cities!
Day 4 - Home
This is your opportunity to explore Brussels before the journey home. We highly recommend trying some frites and checking out the Grand Place!

We ask anyone applying to be able to ride a century comfortably at 12mph or more. If you are not quite there yet, we can support you in getting there. Get in touch.
Apply to the trip above, thereafter if your application is successful, we will send you instructions on how to pay.
Only twenty!
Yes! They will carry your luggage throughout the journey, be on hand for any emergencies, and hold various snacks, tools & other bits too. The vehicle will also transport your bike back to the UK once we have finished.
Absolutely. We are confident it will be easier than you think inshaAllah, especially with Ramadaan not far from now!
A few options... Fly back, Eurostar (most popular) or.. ride! We can support you in this process if needed.
Currently, there is no mainland ferries to Egypt (or Palestine!) from Europe, however, there once was from Greece. To reach there will itself take more than 5 years, by which time we hope something is in place once again. We have other contingency ideas, for example through Turkey etc, but we will cross that bridge when it comes!
Priority will always go to those who joined us for the first leg. But we'll look to fit you in! For the second leg, we intend to go from Brussels to Metz/Nancy via Luxembourg.
Yes.
During the trip, the van will carry your bag(s), tools, snacks, pump, first aid kit etc. The van will have to be emptied at the end of the trip in order for the bikes to be brought back to the UK. You are responsible for taking your luggage back to the UK.
