No distractions. No pressure. Just a chance to ride, laugh, wobble, race, talk — or say nothing at all. Dad & Me is a gentle reminder that showing up is what matters most. One adventure, one ride, a memory that sticks.
You don’t need to be a cycling family — just a dad, father figure, or big brother ready to show up. We’ll help get your child ready with expert advice and guided rides in the lead-up to the main event. You bring the bikes — we’ll help bring the confidence.
This isn’t about fitness or fancy gear. It’s about presence, love, and time well spent. Spaces are limited, so register early to join our prep rides and get your child feeling ready. You ride together — we’ll guide the way.
Your Dad & Me journey includes more than just the big day. Expect expert-led training rides, skill sessions, and coaching to help your child feel confident and ready. The main event includes a hotel stay, breakfast, an experienced ride leader on the day, a custom jersey, and a finisher’s medal to remember it all by.

We kick things off at the iconic Lee Valley Velodrome in Stratford before rolling out along one of London’s hidden gems — the Lee Valley canal path. Away from traffic and noise, we’ll ride through peaceful waterways, open skies, pockets of farmland, and stretches of countryside where time slows down and conversations flow.
Over two days, we’ll cover around 25 miles each day, staying overnight at a Premier Inn in Ware. It’s just far enough to feel like a proper adventure — but close enough to always feel safe, supported, and never out of reach.
This isn’t our first time. We recently led a group of young riders and their families all the way to Belgium and back — and it was, quite simply, the best thing we’ve ever done. Dad & Me is our way of bringing that same magic to a wider audience. Smaller miles, just as meaningful.
To help you feel confident and ready, we’re offering free training rides and skill sessions in the run-up, based at Valentines Park, Goodmayes, and local routes in the Ilford area. Training is mandatory, but no experience is needed. If your child can pedal, we’ll take care of the rest.
We’ll split into two paced groups — one cruising at a relaxed 7–8mph, and another at 9–10mph for older or more experienced riders. Each family will carry their own overnight bag (we’ll guide you on how to pack light and ride smart). Breakfast is included, and we’ll help you plan meals for the rest of the weekend.
The ride is led by an experienced British Cycling coach who is DBS-checked, first-aid trained, and also a qualified primary school teacher. Alongside them, you'll have the support of our highly experienced ride leaders, all of whom are passionate cyclists and skilled at guiding groups of all levels. Whether you’re navigating new routes or picking up cycling skills, we’ve got you covered every step of the way.
Each rider — dad and child — will receive a custom jersey and a finisher’s medal to celebrate what you’ve achieved together.
We’re limiting this to just 10 families to keep it close, supportive, and memorable.
